Long Stitch Hearts Needlepoint Pattern

Stitch a Bargello Valentine decor piece for your home, or as a gift. The project works up quickly in Long Stitch, with a touch of Hungarian Stitch around the borders. A stitch diagram on page 2 will guide you through the stitching, and a matching medallion pattern is also included, and is featured on page 3.

This project is worked in Long Stitch, a cousin to the satin stitch, and Hungarian Stitch on 12-count canvas.

Finished Size of section: Approximately 8 x 9 inches

Mesh Size: 12-count

DMC Tapestry Wool: off-white, light pink, medium pink, dark pink, light green and medium green

Note: The pattern can also be worked in continental stitch.
