Use small sharp scissors to cut along the edge of the cutting line. Canvas is really tough and can damage scissors. Always keep a separate set of scissors just for this purpose.
You will most likely be left with some little nubs or edges of plastic along the cutting line. A small, sharp set of nail clippers will easily remove these.
Use a small set of cuticle scissors to cut away any inside pieces.
