The Cashmere Stitch is a luxuriously-textured filling stitch that is also often used in background areas.
It is worked diagonally in rows that run from top to bottom.
While this sample was worked in tapestry wool, this stitch was stitched using pearl cotton in the large background area of the Love Memory Thread Postcard project.
