Overcast Stitch

The Overcast stitch overs the edge of a piece of canvas, giving it a nice and finished edge.

To create this stitch, begin at A, wrap thread around and to the back (see B) of canvas and back up at C.

In the case of plastic canvas corners (both inside and outside corners), you may have to add additional overcast stitching to give adequate coverage.
