To work the Mosaic stitch, bring your needle up at hole 1, across one thread of the canvas and down at hole 2. Next, bring the needle up at hole 3, across 2 threads of the canvas, and down at hole 4. The next stitch is made over 1 thread in the canvas at 5 and 6.
