Two work the Hungarian Stitch, start at the one side of the canvas. Bring the needle up through the back of the canvas (1), across two intersections of canvas and back down through the canvas (2). The second stitch is worked by bringing the needle up through the canvas (3), across four intersections of canvas, and down (4). The final stitch is worked as the first, over two intersections (5 and 6).
Continue working the first row. The second row is worked in the same manner, only in the opposite direction.
