Stitch a leaf stitch napkin ring using just 5 colors of tapestry wool on 10 to 12-count interlock needlepoint canvas or plastic canvas.
Colors used include 2 shades of tan, 2 shades of green, and a single trim color.
The pattern is simple enough that they work up very quickly - so you can make an entire set in about a day!
The pattern can also be worked in tent stitches, and I have given diagrams for both versions.
I stitched my sample in lighter colors, but the design can easily be changed to suit your Autumn or Holiday table.
