Stitch a pattern of leaves worked in groups of 4 in textured long stitch, with groups of stitches worked in opposite directions!
This project uses continental stitch, as well as long satin stitch, back stitch and quadruple cross (see step 4).
It's worked in 7 colors of DMC tapestry wool on 10-count penelope canvas.
Finished Size: Approximately 12.5 x 12.5 inches (adjust the size by adding or removing rows from the border area).
Mesh Size: Zweigart 10-count penelope canvas.
Size of Canvas Needed: 16x16 inches
DMC Tapestry Wool: two 42.7 yard skeins of 7455, one 42.7 yard skein of 7453, two 8.7 yard skeins of 7408, one 8.7 yard skein of 7457, one 8.7 yard skein of blanc (white), two 8.7 yard skeins each of 7384 and 7385.
