The Double-Straight Cross Stitches are worked in Thread C at the blue cross stitch bar intersections (refer back to the Diagram in Step 8, if you need placement help).
The large section of the Double-Straight Cross is worked over four (4) intersections of canvas, and is topped with a smaller, upright cross worked over two (2) threads of canvas.
