The woven stitch is worked vertically in diagonal rows.
To work, bring your needle up through the canvas near the upper left corner (1), then cross three canvas threads before inserting back into the canvas (2). Bring the needle up again to the right, one hole lower than the first stitch (3), across three threads and back into the canvas (4).
The next row is worked in the opposite direction.
Repeat to fill the desired area.
