To work the Double Woven Stitch, bring your needle up through the canvas near the upper left (1), acrss three inersections of canvas, and down again (2). Repeat for the first row, working bottom to top, diagonally.
The next row is work similarly, working from bottom to top diagonally, but over only one intersection of canvas.
