The Double Parisian is an interesting filling stitch that is easy to work and perfect for beginners. It is similar to the standard Parisian stitch, but worked in double groups of long and short stitches, instead of singly.
It's worked in horizontal rows, and is perfect for filling both large and small areas. It makes a very pretty border as well.
