The French Braid needlepoint pattern is perfect for cleaning out your scrap basket, as any number of colors can be used. Color combinations of your choosing are also possible. The design is worked on 12-count canvas.
Worked mainly in satin stitch with a touch of continental stitch in the black border areas, this project actually works up very quickly!

Tapestry Wool: Tan or white, black for border areas, desired color for outer border and any number of colors for the diagonal rectangles.
