The pattern can be stitched on any type of needlepoint canvas in threads from your stash of scraps. Use #5 Pearl cotton or lengths of 6-strand floss on canvas with small holes, and tapestry wool or #3 Pearl Cotton for canvas with larger holes.
The individual chunks of color are also large enough to experiment with a variety of stitches from your Stitch Journal!
