The Three Kings, also known as the Three Wise Men or Three Magi, are believed to have been the first to visit the baby Jesus after his birth. The kings - Gaspar, Balthasar and Melchior arrived bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
This 3-part pattern is part of the Nativity Series and features a full-color needlepoint chart for each king. The figures can be worked in any variety of stitches, and trimmed with embellishments such as beads, buttons and ribbon.
Since only a small amount of thread is needed for each figure, these are perfect scrap-basket projects.
Patterns for the Holy Family figures and other creche characters are also available.
For best results, finish them as stand-up figures.
