Tracy Lambert, your Guide to Needlepoint, has enjoyed the art of needlepoint for more than 25 years. Over time, she has developed a passion for needlecrafts and the desire to pass this to others, by teaching basic skills, being involved in the needlework community, and designing patterns.

Experience:

Tracy is a needlepoint pattern designer and writer. She has also taught needlework skills to Girl Scout troops, Keepers at Home groups, and women's clubs at local churches. Tracy has been writing about needlepoint and designing patterns for About.com since 2006.

Education:

Her first learned needlework, Tracy's needlepoint skills were self taught as a child. She served as the president of her Future Homemakers of America club in her highschool in Birmingham, AL and has taught numerous classes on needlework skills through her church and civic organizations.

From Tracy Lambert:

Needlepoint is such an enjoyable and relaxing way to create beautiful and useful items for your home, or for those you love. It is my desire to share this passion with you here at About Needlepoint, so you can create special projects yourself. This website is for you! I would love to see your projects, answer your questions and hear your ideas.
