NEW Pattern posted - Blueberry Waffles

From Cheryl Fall, About.com GuideJanuary 13, 2011

Sometimes inspiration comes from unusual places...

This week's inspiration comes from the breakfast table with a colorful plate of Blueberry Waffles loaded with butter and syrup - with a side of orange juice!

Suggestions for stitches are given in this pattern, as it's laid out to accomodate Framed Scotch Stitch in the waffle area, the Cashmere Stitch in the background, the Upright Gobelin Stitch in the blue inner border, and the Rice Stitch in the outer border.

Use a satin thread for the syrup and butter pats to give these elements of the pattern some shine!

Since I like to do more than one of a theme, I think the next design will have eggs and bacon, a steaming bowl of oatmeal, or bagels and lox.

Cute I like it. That’s the trick. The satin thread!
