Halloween Needlepoint

By September 6, 2010

Seems I'm not the only one with Halloween stitching on my needlepoint-minded mind!

Anne Stradal of The Cape Stitcher has been working on a really fun Gambler design featuring 3 ghosts playing poker. This is one of her own designs and is just too cute!

Judy Harper has some new Halloween ideas, as well as inspiring past blogs for creating Halloween napkin rings on her Freebies, Etc.! blog site - I think I need to stitch a set of the Candy Corn rings!

Donna at By the Bay NeedleArt has posted the second annual free pattern for a Halloween Doll. Last year's pattern can be found here so you can make the couple (shown here)!

DMC Threads' Emma Broidery site has a free pattern for a ghost ornament worked in half cross stitch on Aida cloth that can easily be adapted for use on needlepoint canvas in tent stitch. The ornament is outlined with Memory Thread.

Have fun!

This is sooo cute I love it. I’m going to use some satin needle point fabric for this for V-day as well.
