January is typically a clean-out month for me. I'm just not inclined to wait until spring for a major cleaning. Maybe it's the clutter of Holiday decorations now stored for the year, or the extra people coming and going during December that inspires a thorough tossing of all things unnecessary after the first of the year.
This past week I tackled my workroom. I boxed up material I had not used in a year and donated them to a senior center, ditched half-finished projects that I knew would never be touched again, and completel reorganized my stash.
Everything's so fresh and clean that it's downright inspiring - it's time to mess it up again!

I am trying to find a needlepoint kit that has the middle design already finished and I just have to finish the canvas in needle point. I have done many of these but cannot find any like that in the this information Please give me some advise. Thank you, Dora Faux
I had a friend who was looking for the same thing – we googled “pre worked Needlepoint canvases” and were able to find several stores that carried these.
Hi Dora,
This web site features a nice variety of preworked canvas: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://spinayarn.com/images/ap3304.jpg&imgrefurl=http://spinayarn.com/preworked_needlepoint.htm&usg=__1RvI1asMEdovZQSbxyxETvHDIow=&h=402&w=431&sz=32&hl=en&start=2&um=1&itbs=1&tbnid=TLw3AFPjKoUD2M:&tbnh=118&tbnw=126&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dpre%2Bworked%2BNeedlepoint%2Bcanvases%26hl%3Den%26rls%3Dcom.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox%26rlz%3D1I7GGLL_en%26sa%3DN%26um%3D1.
Also, for this type of request, please use the Needlepoint Forum. The link is right under my head, or you can click here: http://forums.about.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?nav=messages&webtag=ab-needlepoint&lgnF=y
In the Forum there is a folder there called “Looking for…” where you can post your question and receive answers not only from me, but from the group. It’s the best possible place to post, as this blog posting will migrate as it ages, and no one will see it.
I would love to see everyone start using the Forum to post questions that are not directly related to the blog posting to help keep things tidy, and make it easier to find the answers to your questions.
Thank you.
