The Family Tree

I've enjoyed spending extra time with my Grandmother this month. She is such a special person to me, I love to tell me children stories of spending precious moments with her as a child. I'm so glad for the for the time she spent with me and the lessons she taught. I'm constantly reminded that these older generations are my "foundation".

For sometime, I have wanted to create a family tree for my children. I wanted them to visibly see their Grandparents and Great-Grandparents all arranged in a way that they could see their roots. This project, I hope, will make an heirloom for generations of my family to come. I picked up charms from a local craft shop and they were perfect for tiny little frames to adorn the branches.
